The "Hardie" - Tradie Van Fitout

Are you a Tradie? Is the back of your Van looking like a bag of smashed crabs? Get a "Hardie" in your life!

This badboy has plenty of features and covers near on all bases for our construction trade kin. A nifty Triple Stacker of drawers for smaller items, hand tools and the like, and a SLED for droppie/table saw storage, all up front and accessed via the side sliding doors. At the tailgate end we have our JUMBO300 drawer set but this isn't sitting on the floor, its raised up on a subframe to create a 250mm high storage area for things like ladders, shovels or longer materials. And in between the front and rear systems is a large open storage area which is accessed via lift up hatches in the Topper false floor. Oh yea, the false floor Topper extends over all of this stuff to give you a nice big, flat surface, perfect for those last minute trips to Bunnings to pickup another sheet of ply because the apprentice cut it wrong.

SPECS

The drawer and drawer carcass are made using precise, CNC cut 16mm black PVC board which uses a compressed and extruded PVC production method. Our drawer sets ARE NOT MADE OF PLYWOOD and unlike plywood, our product isn't affected by moisture, doesn't splinter or split, is extremely durable but lightweight and of course very good-looking and subtle in black.  Base model fit outs do not use runner hardware as the make-up of the material used allows a smooth action for opening and closing of the drawers.  Of course, Heavy Duty 227kg rated runner hardware can of be added to the drawers at the specified additional cost. This option also includes our handy "one hand" handle which lock outs when closed as well as mid and at full extension.

The false floor 'Topper' will easily handle some rough n' tumble. It's made from 12mm Trans-Tex 220 European Birch heavy transport grade plywood. This is extremely hard-wearing, water-resistant and easy to clean down plywood with fully sealed edges. 

The SLED and mounting brackets are laser cut, CNC folded 3mm aluminium, which is then powder-coated in a long-lasting and scratch-resistant textured black powder coating system. 

Drawer dividers are also included which you can fit off wherever you wish and all mounting hardware is supplied.

Installation our Auckland workshop is included in the price. If you're not an Auckland local but are happy to come to us for installation, at checkout, simply choose "Local Pick-up" as your preferred shipping method.

Installation at any of our retailer partners will incur an additional charge for shipping and installation.
