Brake Fluid Tester - Moisture Content Indicator

Brake fluid tester with moisture content LED Indicator.

High water content lowers the boiling point & affects braking performance.

Measurement is based on a change in conductivity, to determine the moisture level in the brake fluid.

There are 8 indications on the meter:
1. Green

The green LED lights = water content in the brake fluid - H2O 3%, do not continue to use the brake fluid, it needs to be replaced

The brake fluid needs immediate replacement, green represents good condition, yellow indicates the state is acceptable but should soon be replaced.

4. Flashing red

Battery on the unit needs to be replaced

5. Green / yellow

Brake fluid has water content of less than 1%, good brake fluid performance, can continue to be used.

6. Green / yellow / yellow:

Brake fluid water content of about 2%, brake fluid can continue to be used.

7. Green / yellow / yellow / red:

Brake fluid water content of about 3%, recommend replacement of brake fluid.

8. Green / yellow / yellow / red / red:

Brake fluid water content of at least 4%, the brake fluid must be replaced immediately, could be dangerous to continue use.
