When it comes to 4K HiFi media players, the UHD5000 is the latest in Zidoo's lineup of high-performance units. Adding to the formats that were present on the UHD3000 model, the UHD5000 features the latest Android operating system, a new processor, and double the internal storage to offer a seamless entertainment experience.
Exquisite Craftsmanship and Excellent Quality
The aluminium alloy chassis, as well as looking great on your media rack or shelf, provides auxiliary heat dissipation for the UHD5000. This means that even when performing the most demanding processing, the UHD5000 remains cool where it matters. The aluminium alloy brushed front panel, frosted upper cover, thickened bottom and shockproof foot pads result in a solid and stable unit with an outstanding texture.
Large LED Display Panel
The LED display on the front of the player communicates various working status indicators and essential playback information. Brightness adjustment is available in the device settings.
Internal External Storage
Hidden underneath the front panelling are two independent SATA3.0 HDD bays for connecting extendable storage drives. These bays allow you to connect external storage drives (up to 16TB each) for accessing all your personal digital entertainment on the UHD5000 media player.
With 4GB of DDR4 memory onboard, the UHD5000 ensures smooth navigation and playback, which helps you enjoy stunning entertainment without pause. The 64GB eMMC super internal storage creates endless entertainment possibilities.
Multiple Gold-plated Ports
The UHD5000 features many modern connections for hooking up your various audio-visual equipment. The available interfaces feature gold-plated terminals, which ensures superior connection and reliable performance.
The UHD5000 includes two USB 3.0 ports and SATA interfaces, which ensure high-speed two-way read and write. Other connections present on the UHD5000 include dual HDMI outputs for separating video and audio, RCA XLR audio output (L R), RCA Video, Toslink Optical, Coaxial, Gigabit LAN, and more.
Independent Dual Power Supplies
The digital and analogue circuits of the UHD5000 are equipped with independent power supplies. The large toroidal linear power supplies provide strong and clean power for audio components and has excellent efficiency in order to reduce external magnetic field interference and provide cleaner picture and audio. Another switching power supply is specially designed for the digital circuits. The efficient direct current output improves the quality of audio and video output.
Exquisite Craftsmanship Handpicked Components
UHD5000 analogue output can present audiophile monitor-level sound quality. The circuit design and materials are handpicked. The main board is made of immersion gold technology, which is equipped with four audiophile operational amplifiers and selected audiophile auxiliary components including NICHCON, WIMA, ELNA. Every detail is made with great effort to improve the audio quality.
High-end HiFi Audio Decoding
UHD5000 has a USB DAC IN port, which greatly expands the audio function. UHD5000 becomes a high-performance audio decoder after connecting to music streamer with SUB output. Sound quality is as good as high-end independent decoding device
Fully Balanced Signal
UHD5000 adopts a fully balanced design for the RCA stereo output, XLR output and DAC decoding. It provides better noise immunity. The channel separation degree is improved and the signal quality is more stable and powerful by eliminating the shared loop.
ESS9068 Monitor-level DAC Audio Decoding
Zidoo has reached a deep and long-term strategic cooperation with ESS. The UHD5000 is equipped with a new generation of ESS 32-bit HyperStream ESS9068 DAC decoder chip. In addition to supporting DSD512 and PCM768@32bit decoding, it also supports three-layer 8 times expanded MQA encoding format hardware decoding.
MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) MQA is an award-winning British technology that delivers the sound of the original master recording. The master MQA file is fully authenticated and is small enough to stream or download. UHD5000 adopts MQA technology to receive and decode MQA audio and provide master-level sound.
