Aromas of dark berries and vanilla pod, clove and some pepperiness, black currant and a touch of brown sugar. All these ideas are repeated across the palate from the first sip, with a lick of chocolate and wood smoke as well. Firm-ish tannins are easy to dissolve, the acid line keeps the mouthfeel firm and refreshed. A balanced and well made wine with immediate drinkability. Food friendly too. Best drinking from 2024 through 2028.
