Pikorahi- Big Twist Already Ancient Aotearoa
- Additional information
Pikorahi.
The pikopiko is a fern frond, one of the special foods of early summer. The piko is a symbol of life itself and is represented by the shape of a koru. Whilst the word “koru" augers a mental image of a rolling curve the word piko is also translated to the word, twist/ bend. The word "rahi" means "large or sizeable". Pikorahi holds a dynamic energy that is larger than life. A fat rolling twist that seems to scoop itself and all nearby into an enthralling embrace.
