THE PRINT

A hand printed limited edition screen print of a lively, spontaneous life drawing.

Ink on Hahnemuler 300gsm cotton rag paper.

380mm x 330mm

Edition of TWENTY. Signed and dated.

THE DRAWING

The original drawing was made during a creative residency at my friend's beautiful meditation centre in June 2022.

In this particular drawing session, I set a timer for 15, 30 and 60 seconds and when the timer went off, I flipped the paper and started a new drawing. I did this for about an hour, making scores of drawings.

This is a 15 second sketch, originally done in willow charcoal on newsprint.

The original is held in a private collection.

This limited edition is printed by hand in Balmoral, Auckland.
