Mermaids and Figs Vase. The item features two distinct paintings, one on each side.

Side 1: a composition with mermaids by the Vedmid-Hora Mountain, inspired by the 1695 intaglio ‘The Joy of the Dnipro Waters’ by Leontii Tarasevych; one of the mermaids is displaying the hand gesture of the Trident of Chornovil.

Side 2: a composition with figs, inspired by The Fountain of Tears in the Khan Palace, Bakhchysaray. The shape of the vase follows the pear-like Trypillian pot, discovered in the Oleksandrivka settlement.
