Brine Shrimp Hatch Mix

San Francisco Bay Freshly hatched brine shrimp are an excellent food for baby fish, small fish and reef tanks. San Francisco Bay Brand® has supplied brine shrimp eggs for the ornamental fish industry for over forty years. Hatch your own fish food or use as an educational tool. Includes 3 packets of hatch mix. Just add water! Small or Baby Freshwater Fish: Egg Laying, Live Bearing, Platys, Tetras and others. Small Saltwater Fish: Gobies, Blennies and others. Saltwater Invertebrates: Tridacnid Clams, Crabs, Feather Dusters, Shrimps, Sea Apples and others. Corals: SPS, LPS and others. Pour 1 packet of San Francisco Bay Brand® Sally's Hatch Mix™ into container, add 1 liter of water, keep temperature between 80-82 degrees F, maintain a pH of 8.0 or above and eggs should hatch in 24-36 hours. After eggs hatch, turn off aeration device (if used). Wait 5-10 minutes for shells to float to the top and baby shrimp will swim to the bottom where you can siphon them into a fine mesh net. Rinse the baby brine shrimp in freshwater and feed your fish. For best results use San Francisco Bay Brand® Hatchery & Shrimpery®.
