If using a heat-emitting bulb then a good reflector is essential.
Using a reflector will trap the warmth and reflect it downwards making it much crosier for the chicks beneath it. The aluminum reflector offers a sense of protection for the chicks and will reduce unnecessary heat loss. We do not recommend using a heat emitter in a lamp holder without a reflector as the heat will all rise - remember hot air rises!

We have two sizes available. Both reflectors fit onto the ceramic bulb holder we have available for sale. Reflectors are NZ-made.
