"Green" Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System

APPLICATIONS

- Point-of-use drinking water
- Undersink installations
- Refrigerator icemaker
GENERAL INFO

The Pentair “Green" RO system includes the high recovery GRO-50 encapsulated membrane. The system includes a 5 micron sediment and carbon block prefilter that reduces sediment, odor and improves taste.

The carbon and sediment prefilters reduce the particles and chlorine taste and odor to prolong the life of the RO membrane. The RO membrane separates water molecules from dissolved salts and minerals. The RO filtered water is sent to the storage tank until you need it. When you turn on the drinking water faucet, the filtered water from the storage tank is sent through a carbon polishing filter which provides final taste and odor filtration before the water reaches your glass. Cleaner, fresher water whenever you want it!

CONNECTING TO YOUR COLD WATER LINE
- Isolate the Cold Water Line. Turn off the water supply to the house if necessary.
- If your cold water line is a flexi hose only use the take-off valve kit included. (See note further note below)
- Unscrew the flexi hose leading to the Mixer Tap where it meets the cold water line.
- Screw the female end of flexi take-off valve onto the male thread that is exposed. (Use Teflon tape if required)
- Screw the flexi pipe back onto the female end of the flexi take-off valve. (Use Teflon tape if required)
- Now connect the isolating valve using Teflon tape to the body of the flexi take-off valve.
- Next connect the tubing supplied by placing the brass crox nut (in reverse) over the tubing, then insert the nylon spigot into the tube end and slide the nylon olive over the tubing.
- Now insert the tubing into the isolating valve ensuring it is pushed all the way in and begin to turn the crox nut in a clockwise direction until it is tight.

NOTE: If there is no flexi hose for the cold water line under the sink then you can purchase / connect using a dishwasher take-off valve (pictured) directly onto the cold water line that feeds into the dishwasher.

If this is also not an option you can connect to the cold water line by using either a copper or plastic pipe take-off valve (as pictured) however you will need to purchase either of these C-Clamp Kits.
