- Twist the old filter a quarter-turn counterclockwise
- Pull the filter straight out and discard
- Push the new filter into the fridge until it stops
- Twist the filter a quarter-turn clockwise
- Swing the plastic filter cover up until it snaps closed
- Reset your "change filter" light (if your fridge has one) FILTER LIFE
The manufacturer recommends the filters should be changed every 6 months, as routine replacement guards against sediment buildup in the fridge's ice and water dispensers.
