This EcoAqua External Inline Fridge Filter suits refrigerators that have a filter outside the fridge, at the back of the fridge or in a nearby cabinet. It is manufactured according to Australian plumbing and drinking water standards. This fridge water filter is now preferred by most refrigerator manufacturers. It includes the latest high compression push fittings allowing it to adapt to plastic and copper tubing while also dramatically reducing the risk of leaks. - Twist the old filter a quarter-turn counterclockwise
- Pull the filter straight out and discard
- Push the new filter into the fridge until it stops
- Twist the filter a quarter-turn clockwise
- Swing the plastic filter cover up until it snaps closed
- Reset your "change filter" light (if your fridge has one) FILTER LIFE
The manufacturer recommends the filters should be changed every 6 months, as routine replacement guards against sediment buildup in the fridge's ice and water dispensers.
This EcoAqua water filter replaces: A suitable replacement for AP717, and Haier brand fridge model HFD647WISS.
