NOTE – This pump can be used as a replacement for other branded 3.0hp single speed pumps. You would need to cut the old locking ring of the union glued on the existing pipe and use the new SmartFlo split nut in its spot. The pump is however larger and may have a different foot print, you would have to check that there is enough space to fit the pump(specs in data sheet).
