Tangiwai Toki Large Pounamu Pendant

Carved from Tangiwai pounamu, from Sands Carving Studio. A one-off, large Toki with an angled tip, dark translucency threaded with white clouded flecks.

Tangiwai is the rarest form of pounamu, found near the opening of Milford Sound. Prized for its depth and clarity within rich olive-green tones, it has long been associated with strength, protection, and safe journeys. The toki shape symbolises courage, determination, and leadership — a traditional form worn as a mark of authority and resilience.

Finished on an adjustable black cord and presented in an eco-friendly box with a meaning and care card.
