[SPECIAL] Compound Archery on Arrow Making 7th June - Riku van Tonder

“Ever wonder why your arrows don't fly the way they should?

The secret to consistent accuracy isn't just your form - it's having arrows that are perfectly matched, tuned, and built for your bow. In this hands-on seminar, you'll learn exactly how to do that from the ground up.

What you'll learn:

- Determining arrow spine - Match stiffness to your draw weight and length for a cleaner release
- Arrow length - Get the right cut for your setup, not too long, not too short
- Point weight matching - Balance FOC to optimise flight and penetration for your purpose
- Bow tuning (bare shaft) - Achieve a bullet hole at paper and dial in your rest position
- Duplicating matched arrows - Build a consistent dozen that all fly the same as your tuned shaft
- Natural arrow rotation - Find the shaft's preferred spin before you even pick up a fletching jig
- Fletching your shafts - Vane selection, offset, helical - do it right the first time
- Groupings and fine tuning - Put it all together, read your groups and know exactly what to adjust
