BP28 Shotgun Mic Condenser Line+Gradient

The BP28L is the long-barrel, 22.4" version of the BP28 line gradient large-diaphragm condenser shotgun microphone, delivering tighter directional control at distance and an extraordinary self-noise figure of just 3 dB SPL — among the lowest of any production microphone. Designed for demanding broadcast, film, sports production, and nature recording applications where maximum reach and minimum noise are non-negotiable.

The extended interference tube provides greater directionality at long working distances, while the patented acoustic port design preserves consistent off-axis rejection across the full 20 Hz – 20 kHz frequency range. Transformer-coupled outputs, a switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter, and a -10 dB pad are retained from the BP28, with the higher sensitivity (-23 dBV) making the BP28L exceptionally capable at capturing distant sources with outstanding signal-to-noise performance.
