The ATW-DT3102 is a UHF digital handheld transmitter without capsule, designed to pair with the ATW-DR3120DAN dual-channel DANTE receiver for professional wireless microphone applications. Its interchangeable capsule system accepts Audio-Technica's Artist Elite series heads alongside the ATW-C510 cardioid and ATW-C710 hypercardioid capsules, allowing engineers to tailor the polar pattern and sound character to the specific demands of the production.

Built on the same digital platform as the ATW-DT3101, the ATW-DT3102 employs π/4-shift DQPSK modulation across a 60 MHz UHF tuning bandwidth and delivers 2.5 ms transmission latency — ensuring audio alignment precision for broadcast and live events. Up to 22 channels can operate simultaneously within a single 8 MHz television channel, and AES256 encryption protects the RF signal from interception. Dual AA battery compatibility means alkaline cells can serve as a backup should NiMH cells run low mid-performance.
