Martin 2 x 18" Dual Driver Hybrid horn/reflex subwoofer

The flown variant of the dual 18-inch Hybrid horn/reflex subwoofer, supplied with integral flying hardware for aerial deployment alongside or above Wavefront Precision line array systems. It combines the acoustic architecture of the Hybrid horn/reflex design — delivering 148 dB peak SPL — with a rigging infrastructure compatible with the WPLGRIDt touring flying frame, enabling seamless flown sub-bass integration at the highest production level.

Driven by dual neodymium 18-inch long-excursion transducers with 4.5-inch voice coils and water-resistant triple roll surrounds, the enclosure is built from multi-laminate plywood with a hard-wearing textured black polyurea coating. Four rear-mounted 100 mm castors and six bar handles facilitate ground-level handling, whilst front and rear LED indicators provide clear system-status visibility on busy stages. Forward and rear-facing operation supports cardioid sub configurations.
