After decades aligned with Holden, their transition to the Ford Mustang under the new Gen3 regulations sparked a resurgence in form and reshaped the competitive landscape of the series.
By 2024, Chaz Mostert delivered WAU’s first Ford victory, signalling the beginning of a new performance trajectory. With strengthened factory backing, refined engineering processes, and a unified team structure, the squad transformed from solid contenders into dependable front-runners, consistently scoring podiums and challenging for wins.
In 2025, Mostert capped off this momentum by securing the Repco Supercars Championship after an outstanding performance in one of the toughest season finales in recent memory.
