In the Sand Dune

This image was taken during a midwinter surf at our local east coast beach just north of Auckland. Forestry beach is a special place. Driving down dusty roads lined with pine trees, the sound of ocean echoes. It is not until you peak over the dunes that you get to see the magic. Until that point, you can only dream.
