REVO AUDI B9 RS5 ECU | 2.9TFSI V6
The new B9 RS models are powered by a 2.9 TFSI V6 twin-turbo engine producing 450PS and 600Nm of torque, which gives the same power as the previous model (B8) while making more torque, all from a smaller displacement engine. This later iteration of the RS classic utilises the 8-speed 'Tiptronic' AL552 automatic transmission.

Peak gains are calculated by the difference in peak values (headline figures) of the stock run vs Revo tuned run. Maximum gains are calculated at a single point of the RPM range where the maximum improvements in performance can be seen. This metric gives a better understanding of the performance gains throughout the entire rev range, rather than solely focusing on the peak numbers.

COLD START PROTECTION
For engine oil to work effectively and lubricate your engine it needs time to warm up. When you first start your car, the cold oil is at a higher viscosity and flows more slowly, limiting the protection it can give to engine components. As the engine temperature increases, so does the oil temperature. This thins the oil, enabling it to run more freely and better lubricate the moving parts of your engine. Cold Start Protection helps protect engine components by limiting RPM until the oil temperature reaches this optimum operating level.
TEMPERATURE PROTECTION
Revo Temperature Protection is an additional safety feature that reduces overall load and RPM as the oil temperature passes a set limit. Exhaust gas temperatures (EGT) are also monitored, adapting the operating conditions (Air Fuel Ratio) to ensure they stay within safe parameters. If EGT's reach a set upper limit, then power is automatically reduced until the engine to a safe operating temperature. Additional changes to the calibration, including the after-run pump, are made to greater help control temperatures.
