Lockheed P-3M Orion. Serial 22-35 of 221 Sqn Spanish Air Force based at Mor243n AB Seville 2018. First flown in 1959 and based on the Electra turboprop airliner the Orion is a four engined anti submarine maritime patrol aircraft. Its distinctive 8220stinger8221 tail boom houses a sensitive Magnetic Anomaly Detector. An internal bomb bay can house a variety of torpedoes and weapons while underwing pylons can be used to carry anti-shipping missiles or bombs.
