Description

The 'Ayurveda & Women’s Health' seminar is designed for women of all age groups. It emphasises on the natural healing tools Ayurveda has to offer to support women to live their life to the fullest.

During this talk we will look at common conditions and symptoms such as heavy periods, hormonal imbalances and mood swings both from a Western and Ayurvedic medicine perspective. We will also cover peri-menopause and menopause and explore practical tips to support you through this transformative time.

Ayurveda, the ancient healing system from India offers a holistic approach which helps through diet, lifestyle, herbal medicine and Yoga therapy to regain balance, energy, and quality of life.

A list of Ayurvedic remedies, self-administered treatments and herbal formulas for each constitution will be shared to alleviate symptoms.

The wisdom of Ayurveda encourages people to take responsibility for their own health in alignment with the different stages of their lives, the seasons, and the environment they live in. It acknowledges the unique nature of each person through individual constitutions (Doshas) and applies dietary and lifestyle adjustments, body therapies, and herbal remedies to assist in this transformational process.

Ayurvedic medicine recognises the root cause of most chronic conditions arise from imbalances in the doshas and poor functioning of the digestive system.

By assisting women to reconnect with their natural rhythms, Ayurveda provides tools to gain a deeper understanding of their feminine nature and to enable them to enjoy a content, fulfilled and vibrant life. History of Ayurveda
