In one randomised placebo-controlled trial where 60 healthy children took Biome Dental™ once a day before bed, significant improvements in gum health and reduced dental plaque were observed within just three days. After 14 days, Biome Dental™ reduced the build-up of dental plaque by 69% and significantly improved gum health, with a 68% reduction in gingival index (a measure of poor gum health). When compared to both placebo and chlorhexidine mouthwash, there were significantly greater improvements following the use of Biome Dental™ after 14 days.
