Rouge 2022 MAGNUM | Mélange (Marlborough, NZ)

100% Pinot Noir.

Certified organic fruit from Raupo Vineyard & Auntsfield Vineyard, Southern Valleys, Marlborough.

Hand harvested. Fruit was 95% destemmed on top of whole bunch component (5%) & fermented wild on skins for 12 days. Fruit was then pressed into separate seasonedFrench oak barriques & spent 5 months in barrel before being assembled & racked into a stainless steel tank. Left to settle for one month before being bottled unfined & unfiltered with a small addition of SO2.
Serve just below room temperature (approx 12-15 degrees).
