YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE is a magnificent blend of 15 luxury oils, two oil esters, three antioxidants, and a powerful dose of Bakuchiol (in addition to whole Bakuchi/Babchi oil).
Bakuchiol is known as 'nature's retinol' because of its comparable anti-ageing benefits, but without the commonly experienced irritation, so it is much more suitable for those with sensitive skin. It is also not unsafe to use while pregnant and breastfeeding, and doesn't cause photosensitivity, so can be used during the day - unlike retinol on both counts.
The formulation is high in essential fatty acids, phytonutrients, carotenoids, vitamins and antioxidants, designed to: soften the appearance of fine lines, fade hyperpigmentation, and boost skin's natural collagen and elastin production for a youth-inducing glow.
The magical colour comes from the generous amount of the powerful vitamin-like antioxidant Coenzyme Q10, or CoQ10 for short.
The bi-phase nature, unique for an exclusively oil formulation, comes from the jojoba esters which settle when the bottle is left undisturbed for a few days. Make sure to shake to activate before use, and watch the ‘magic dust from the jojoba esters disperse, swirl and shimmer like sparkles of sunshine.
The Original version has a charmingly subtle woody-floral scent with a bright note shining through, comes from a complex blend of skin-beneficial essential oils.
The Pure version doesn't contain essential oils and carries the natural woody smell of Bahuchiol.
For all skin types, including acne-prone and sensitive skin (but as always - patch test to be sure it will work with your unique skin chemistry).
