Magic Academy: Learn to Pick 2 Draft - 28th March 2026 Ticket
You’ve learned the basics of game play with Welcome decks, but where do you go from here? Magic: the Gathering has two sides, play and deck building! Learn the basics of deck building with Blair in a “Pick 2 Draft" format. In a group of 4 you will all be introduced to the drafting format where you make a deck from scratch with a limited pool of cards. With guidance from our wonderful Blair, you will be shown the ropes of where to start with deck building, how to identify cards to build the main engine of your deck, and then how to fill in the rest of your deck to support that engine. You’ll learn how to identify Mana Curve, to balance your creatures and spells and gain some insight on the basics of deck building to take on and build a full size deck at home!
And better yet, all the cards you use during the event you get to take home with you!
