To ensure these inserts reach their full absorbency capacity, we recommend soaking them in water for 24 hours before use. Place them in a bucket with water, and once they have sunk to the bottom and no longer float, pop them in the machine to wash them and then they will be good to go. Hemp does require longer to build up absorbency and you will notice the absorbency improves the more you use it.

If you are using these alongside a microfibre insert, we recommend you put the microfibre on top and the hemp on the bottom, with both of them inside the pocket.
