Proper seasoning helps protect the cast iron, prevents rust, and creates a natural non-stick cooking surface. Step 1: Wash and Dry
- Wash the cast iron pot thoroughly with warm water.
- Dry the pot completely using a clean cloth or paper towel.
- Ensure no moisture remains on the surface. Step 2: Apply Oil
- Apply a thin, even layer of cooking oil to the entire cast iron surface, inside and out.
- Wipe away any excess oil. The surface should appear lightly coated, not oily. Step 3: Heat the Pot
- Place the pot in a preheated oven at high heat (approximately 200°C - 230°C).
- Heat for 45-60 minutes.
- Allow the pot to cool completely before handling. Step 4: Repeat if Desired

For best results, repeat the seasoning process 2-3 times before first use. Care Instructions

- Clean with warm water after use.
- Dry thoroughly immediately after washing.
- Apply a light coat of cooking oil before storing.
- Do not leave the pot soaking in water.
- Store in a dry place to prevent rust.
- The wooden lid should be hand washed only and should not be placed in the oven.

With proper care and seasoning, your cast iron pot will provide years of reliable cooking performance and develop a beautiful natural patina that improves with every use.
