2026 Small Stove Douglas Fir Firewood

Small Stove Douglas Fir firewood is cut to 24cm, this is shorter than our usual length. It is for use in small wood burning fireplaces and potbelly stoves.

There are approximately 1/3 more logs used to make a cubic meter of small stove wood versus a standard cubic meter of firewood, which means there is more wood in the thrown cubic meter.

Douglas Fir is a recommended good all round wood. It produces great heat and extended burning time. Being a straight grain wood, Douglas Fir is very easy to split down into kindling. This wood is superior to pine.

Bulk Firewood is sold as a thrown m3 and not a stacked m3.

This firewood is NOT DRY and for burning in 2026.

This firewood needs to be stored in a well ventilated area to dry before burning. Please allow at least 6 weeks further drying.
