It is finished with a hand-rubbed black oil stain, followed by a satin hard wax oil, both derived from natural plant oils. This creates a rich, velvety sheen that highlights the wood’s hand-cut facets, revealing textures that play with shadow and light.

Anchoring the piece is a recycled slab of black granite, thoughtfully repurposed. The stone’s semi-textured finish offers a soft, tactile sheen that complements the carved wood while adding stability and a sense of permanence.
