Facsimile Edition of 500 copies published in 1968. The original edition pubished in 1845. Master printed in Japan on heavy GSM parchment paper and then bound in green three quarter leather with strong buckram front and back. Very large format. Elephant folio. 15 beautiful colour plates, numerous in gate fold, and these lithographs were taken from original drawings by a variety of iconic artists including Charles Heaphy, Samuel Brees and William Mein -Smith. A couple of small marks on the front cover otherwise in fine condition.
