Kauri Butterfly and Koru - Burnt Offerings

This is a lovely thick piece of Kauri, which has that lovely honey colour. Unfortunately, the wood worm has eaten the other side a bit but have long gone. So I decided it would be perfect as a piece of art for the wall. I have hand burnt a monarch butterfly on a Koru and it stands out beautifully on the Kauri. Approximately 42.5cm x 22cm.
