Friends to 10

Description:

Children build their own visual models as they explore with hands on materials to build number bonds to 10. Children select an addition card and stack two coloured counters to combine numbers, making the sum of 10.

I have written a song and provided the lyrics and a clear visual to support this learning.

Developing skills in number sense, addition, composing and decomposing numbers. Children begin to develop part-whole thinking required for more complex mathematical thinking.
