Tapi Chardonnay 2023

This is easy going, forward, bright and supple organic Chardonnay from Marlborough. Hand-picked Wairau Valley fruit from Gus and Swan’s vineyard was whole bunch pressed, fermented and aged in oak barriques for 1 year.

Tapi is the outcome of the trans-tasman partnership of two families, Gus and Swan Altschwager in Marlborough and Mark and Emma Kenneally in South Australia. These certified organic Wairau Valley wines are named after Mount Tapuae-o-Uenuku (‘footprint of the rainbow’), or as locals call it, Mount Tapi, a beacon which rises above the famous Marlborough wine region.
