Rostaing's flagship red, Ampodium is assembled from parcels throughout Côte Rôtie. It is a terrific expression, and by itself rivals the appellation’s best. This classic Syrah offers red fruit and spicy minerals that are densely flavoured but elegantly presented. It has wonderful appeal right now, but also a long future ahead in cellar.
