2022 Bouchard Aloxe Corton Caros Wines NZ

A serious red Burgundy from the famous village of Aloxe-Corton. This exceptional label is sourced from just outside the boundary of the famous Corton Grand Cru vineyard. Here the first traces of vineyards in date back to the 2nd century BC! The style of Aloxe-Corton is firmer and more muscular than typical Burgundy reds, with dark cherry, blackberry, earth, spice, and a subtle gamey note with age. A great prospect for early or medium-term enjoyment, the Aloxe-Corton will not last long.
