2022 Rene Rostaing Cote Rotie Cote Brune Caros Wines NZ

A sublime Northern Rhone Syrah that scored 100/100 from Jeb Dunnuck in the earlier 2020 vintage. This plot in the Cote Brune passed to Rene Rostaing from the holdings of local legend Marius Gentaz, and were replanted by Rostaing in 2000 with 100% Syrah. A wine of extreme elegance and depth, the Cote Brune is a star wine in any cellar. Volumes are small.
