Now labelled as "Havelock Hills", Black Barn's classic Hawkes Bay Syrah is about elegance and focus. A nice array of vibrant dark red fruits and florals wrap around a spine of fine tannins. This smaller operation does proper hand-harvesting with a low-intervention artisan ethos in the winery. Classy for the price, this is real value in Hawkes Bay Syrah.
