Cune (Cvne) Cava Brut NV Caros Wines NZ

Famed Rioja producer CVNE recently got into the Cava game. This is an excellent entry-point to their style of Cava, and it's also great value. A classic blend of Xarel-lo, Macabeo, and Parellada, the secondary fermentation happens in bottle like Champagne. Aged for 18 months on its lees, the finished wine is quite fine, especially for a Cava in this price range. Possessing a nice mix of citrus and orchard fruits, a light toastiness, and fine bubbles, it's a lot of bubbly for the money.
