Bastia X Arched Window Full-Length Mirror | 200 x 100cm
A Window Where There Was Only Wall
Hang the Bastia X and the room seems to gain an opening it never had. This arched window mirror stands 200 x 100cm, a genuine full length mirror framed in slim black cast iron and divided by fine glazing bars, the way an old conservatory window might be. The reflection sits behind that grid like a view, and in a smaller hallway or bedroom that can be enough to make the whole space feel borrowed from somewhere grander.
Drawn Like a Window, Not Printed On
The grid is the quiet star. A second arch echoes the outer curve, columns run the full height, and small radiating bars fan through the shoulders the way window makers once divided their glass. Each bar is solid cast iron rather than a printed line, so the pattern carries real depth when light rakes across it. From across the room it reads as architecture. Up close it reads as craft.
Hang It or Lean It
Two hooks come welded to the rear frame for wall hanging. Prefer it relaxed? It can just as easily lean against the wall, arch rising toward the ceiling, in the way of a classic leaner mirror. Hung in an entry it can carry the space on its own; leaning in a corner it makes a generous head to toe dressing mirror. As with any large leaning mirror, a discreet wall tether is a sensible addition in busy homes.
The Specs
Overall size 200 x 100cm, with a cast iron frame around 30mm deep. The glass is 4mm ultra clear silvered mirror, a low iron glass that a brighter reflection with far less of the green cast standard mirror glass can show. At 29kg assembled it is a substantial piece, and two people make light work of moving it.
