The included step-by-step instruction guide is designed for complete beginners. It also includes a wet felting only method, making it easy for families who would prefer to create their stars without using felting needles.

Each kit makes:

- A collection of 9 colourful felt Matariki stars, each approximately 9 cm in size.

You'll also need:

- Warm water
- Dish soap
- A small bowl
- An old towel (or two)
- A grown-up helper
- Optional: sewing needle and thread, beads and other decorative accents

Age Guide:

- Needle felting is recommended for children aged 7 years and over, with close adult supervision at all times. Younger children (4 ) can still enjoy choosing colours, adding the glitter, and helping with the wet felting stages.

Please note that, as this kit contains sharp felting needles , adult supervision is essential. If you prefer to skip the needle felting, the included guide provides instructions for creating the stars using wet felting only.
