Using his years of experience as a winemaker, Andrew Marks launched the Melbourne Gin Company in 2012 having been experimenting with a gin still at home since 2009.

The Melbourne Gin Company is handcrafted and batch distilled using a mixture of 11 local and exotic botanicals including grapefruit and rosemary grown at his family’s vineyard in the Yarra Valley.

The final ingredient is the purest water sourced from Gembrook in the Yarra Valley.

Botanicals:

Juniper, Coriander Seeds, Grapefruit Peel, Rosemary, Macadamia, Sandalwood, Honey Lemon Myrtle, Navel Orange, Angelica Root, Orris Root, Cassia Bark.

Cocktail Recipe:

> 60ml Melbourne Gin Company
> 30ml Lemon juice
> 30ml Macadamia orgeat (syrup)
> 15ml Egg white
> 1 dash Bittermans hopped grapefruit bitters
