At the Complete Angler we have been the experts that have set up most overseas anglers who arrive at the gateway to New Zealand’s South Island, Christchurch. For over 30 years we have outfitted and directed beginners to experts on how and where to fish. Regardless of skill level we recommend getting a guide straight off. South Island fishing is renowned as the best brown trout fishery in the world, but monster browns are not always the easiest to catch. We can organize a trip for a day, a week or whatever you have in mind.

Our advice to anyone who arrives would be to get a guide and get one at the beginning of your trip. We have taken out a number of exceptional anglers for last couple of days of their trip that just could not crack it with in the 14 days they were here.
