The Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill is crafted exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs. Although the exact blend remains a closely guarded secret, Pinot Noir predominates to deliver the structure and depth Churchill famously preferred, while Chardonnay contributes finesse and freshness.
Pol Roger remains one of the last Champagne houses to employ a full-time team of manual riddlers, turning every bottle by hand in their deep chalk cellars 33 metres underground. These unusually cool cellars slow the secondary fermentation, producing the exceptionally fine mousse for which Pol Roger is renowned.
