Vineyards sit around 1,100 metres above sea level where strong sunlight and dramatic diurnal temperature shifts build aromatic intensity while preserving freshness. To survive the harsh Siberian winters, every vine must be carefully buried beneath the soil by hand and uncovered again each spring—an extraordinary labour-intensive practice unique to northern Chinese vineyards. The wine is crafted under the guidance of Jean-Claude Berrouet using Bordeaux varietals and matured for around 12 months in French oak barrels, delivering silky tannins, elegant structure and impressive purity of fruit.
