Every board avoids over 1,200x the carbon emissions of chopping boards made from virgin plastic. That’s what happens when we choose to work with what’s already here.

At 18mm thick, this board is seriously tough—made for daily use and decades of life. You can easily resand the surface every few years to keep it looking fresh. And with its unique flecked finish, each board is a one-off, telling the story of the plastic saved from landfill and oceans.

Choose your size:

A5 – Small (780g) - Diverts ~84.8m of soft plastic wrap. Handy for small jobs and beautiful as a serving board.

A4 – Medium (1.282kg) - Diverts ~139m of wrap. Perfect everyday size.

A3 – Large (2.564kg) - Diverts ~279m of wrap. Great for big meals or countertop styling.

Each Cleanstone chopping board is handmade to order in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), New Zealand, using 100% locally recycled plastics. Please allow 3–5 working days for us to craft, pack, and ship your order.

If you're ordering a set of 3, they’ll be packed and shipped together to reduce waste and emissions. We ship plastic-free, using recyclable or compostable packaging wherever possible.

🧼 Care Instructions

Cleanstone is built to last—just give it the care it deserves.

Wash: Warm, soapy water and a soft cloth or brush is best. Not dishwasher safe— high heat can cause warping over time.

Stains: Cleanstone resists most stains, but turmeric, beetroot and other strong pigments may temporarily tint the surface if left too long. Wash promptly for best results.

Refresh: After years of use, simply resand the surface with fine-grit sandpaper (180–240 grit) to make it look brand new again.

Heat: Cleanstone is resistant to pots of boiling water up to 100 deg C, however avoid placing hot frying pans directly onto the board as it will leave a mark—it’s strong, but not fully heatproof.
