Kohu Cleanstone

Cleanstone is made in Auckland from hard-to-recycle plastic waste from Aotearoa, New Zealand.

This Kohu mix is made from a 100% recycled soft plastics from both post conumer and commercial packaging. Like natural stone, the will have swirls, speckles and streaks with slight pattern variations which will differ from panel to panel.

The Kohu panel is slightly more translucent the thinner the panel and become more opaque the thicker the sheet.

Our panels are pre-finished and are solid blocks of 100% recycled plastic. No additives. No breakable veneers. Just recycled plastics.

Thickness Variation

Please note that due to the nature of working with 100% recycled plastics, all Cleanstone panels have a variation in thickness and that the thicknesses outlined are nominal. The Kererū Cleanstone have a thickness variation of plus/minus 2mm - i.e. a 12mm nominal thick Cleanstone will have areas as low as 10mm and as high as 14mm.

Notes

Due to being made from 100% recycled plastics, the surface of the can appear earthly in certain areas and have minor small colour flecks.
