Mizuna is a Japanese mustard green, part of the brassica family (like broccoli, kale, and cabbage). Mizuna microgreens have slender stems with small, frilly green leaves and a light, refreshing flavour.
FLAVOUR:
Mild peppery, slightly spicy flavour.
USE ME IN:
Use mizuna sprouts as garnish for meat or raw fish dishes like sashimi. It can also be used as a milder substitute for mustard in micro salads and a great topping for pasta dishes, soups, stews and pizzas.
NUTRITION:
Rich in antioxidants, and high in vitamins K, A and C. May help support immune function, bone health, and anti-inflammatory processes.
