1940s Lynx Double Breasted Jacket, Black

Lynx brand 4x1 double breasted jacket, likely 1940s. Made in New Zealand.

Features a rarely seen black dotted herringbone pattern with yellow pinstripes, and an unfortunately cracked button on the left sleeve.

As evidenced by the permanent marker written on the lining beneath the collar, this jacket was once part of the costume cupboard for the Downstage Theatre Company, a professional theatre company which operated in Wellington, New Zealand between 1964 and 2013.
